The University of Hong Kong (HKU) proposed to build a new academic building for the Li Ka Shing (LKS) Faculty of Medicine’s use as the first phase of redevelopment of several of its existing campus premises along Sassoon Road, which involves the relocation of various departments. The new block will house the School of Nursing and the School of Chinese Medicine. This project proposes to demolish the existing 3-storey HA linen store and redevelop into an academic building comprising of laboratories, teaching, research facilities, including Lecture Theatre provisions, student & staff amenities and support facilities at Sassoon Road and Pokfulam Road, Pokfulam.
